Zeta Reticuli is an actual star system... not just Sci-Fe. It's part of the constellation Reticulum.

_Alien_ doesn't take place in Zeta Reticuli. In the scene in which Lambert determines their location, Lambert says, "I found it. Just short of Zeta II Reticuli. We haven't reached the Outer Rim yet." "Just short" of Zeta Reticuli does not mean "at" Zeta Reticuli.
