Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special - Demo by David García (Fanatic Guitars)

Here is a little demo with the Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special using my Fender American Stratocaster. Recorded with a Shure SM57 thru a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. Hope you enjoy it!

Nice playing David.
I own the same amp and love it.
The tone I get with my Baja Telecaster strung up with  13-55 is absolutely gorgeous.
I do not use the reverb on the amp as I find it a little shrill when engaged.
One thing I noticed is that at loud volumes through the clean channel you will get natural grit from the EL 84 power tubes and will not get the ultimate clean tone.

Very nice! Only thing is, I assume just your playing is thru the Lonestar? We don’t know what the backing track is. It would be great to see both the dirty and clean channels in a split screen. The playing was great! An excellent selection! No crazy fireworks, just good solid melodies, very appealing, really well done!

Excellent demo! I own the same amp and have had some trouble dialing in Channel 2. Do you recall your settings for both the Clean and Lead sounds? I play a very similar Strat. Thank you!
