The keep or dump Andy Kaufman thing sounds like something Andy came up with himself, he was that kind of comic.

Robert Blake wasn't banned. He just went out to look for his gun before coming back.

There’s a difference between just not being invited back (Frank Zappa) and actually being BANNED.

There’s a difference between being banned. Not invited to host again. Being dead. And being in prison.

I've met a stuntman, who played Jason Voorhees(2009 Friday the 13th). I was chatting with him about a movie he was in with Steven Seagal. A total asshole is what he had to say about Seagal

I remember seeing that Steven Segall show. I didn't even crack a single smile.

The First sketch Robert Blake did in his SNL appearance is also banned. It only aired ONCE on it's initial airing. It was a naughty spoof of Little House on The Prairie with a lot of sexual innuendo than enraged Star Michael Landon. He made numerous calls to NBC Execs and they ordered the sketch be immediately 'removed" from the episode. It only aired ONCE.

I'm tired of people telling me I should be offended at something. Not one Jamaican was offended at Brody's performance we all took it in jest

In all fairness to Steven Seagal, he obviously didn’t get his wish for insane explosions, crappy one liners and awful fight scenes (on his part). So no wonder it was a failure! 😂

What I don't get is, why was Steven Segall ever famous enough to be on SNL in the first place? Everything I've ever heard or read about him leads me to believe his is just an arrogant douche bag and it's not like he can act worth a damn either. Seriously, why is he famous?

Spoiler alert comedians like Milton Berle and Martin Lawrence majority of the time go off on jokes not written in the script. That's what make comedy great.

The vote to ban Andy Kaufman from SNL actually happened in 1982 not 1983. It was from the same episode that Drew Barrymore (who was then, 7-years old) hosted for the very first time.
