CPAP and BiPAP are two common treatments for sleep apnea. Both therapies involve pressurized air delivered into the breathing passages during sleep, but with one key difference: CPAP means the air is set to a fixed pressure level; BiPAP switches between different pressure levels during inhalation and exhalation.

They said I was difficult. I have BiPAP and it was 100% covered because I am in Canada and on Disability. But I am not having success so far. Sure I get better quality sleep but at shorter instances with the BiPAP than with nothing. I wake every hour and I got sores on my face, get leaks around my nose, and now have a very sore throat and my tonsils are inflamed. I am so exhausted and wondering if anything will work. I just got this machine less than a month ago and so many issues. Also I am told I might have chin drop so might have to also get some sort of neck brace for sleeping with the full face mask I use. I just want to sleep.
