If you go back on the line, you can relief one club length circle, not half circle.

Our course has some trees wrapped in wire mesh. If a ball gets stuck in the wire is that free relief?

Putting tees down to mark out an area seems to take a long time, can we just estimate where to drop the ball,

Is it true that when you take relief back on the line (the example where you went quite a way back in order to clear the top of tree) that you just need to stay within one club length of that line (so the semi–circle you made with the foot spray inaccurately leads one to believe you have to stay within that marked area. In reality, shouldn’t you have made two lines that are parallel and one club length away from the original line? Thanks for the great videos!

Is the backward extension an extension of the straight line from the unplayable ball location to the pin? So, if the errant shot landed far left or right, the extension could put you out of bounds or in a penalty area?

Jim, when i leave a bag at the next tee, can I lean my wedge against my right leg when I'm putting? I notice it does give me feedback if i move the lower body too much.

Example 1…If you dropped closer to the line of two club length and the ball rolls out of the area twice you can place the ball, almost teeing it up which give even more of an advantage …

Rory did not watch the 2023 Rules Video Update and received a 2 stroke penalty for his one club drop off the line, instead of dropping as required on the line. This happened on his opening round, on the par 5 seventh hole at Spyglass at AT&T in 2024. He followed the 2019 rule in this video. Besure to watch the 2023 Rules Video Update!! Jim, in my experience as a 27 handicap and a five day member of a Aussie Bush track that has only five female members, I'd like to declare my course Unplayable, never mind an occasional unfortunate lie, the clubhouse is men only, mostly ferals, who spend the day propping up the bar, , Jim your just lucky, so stop whining about your bad luck,
