Had a love bombing experience only once at 70 years of age. It was a more subtle form than what you described. She turned out to be a full-blown narcissist. I didn't expect that from an expert licensed massage therapist. I started binge watching YouTube videos on narcissism after a particular telltale incident and ended the relationship.

Love bombing. This is a phrase used by insecure people who cannot believe that someone would actually love them for who they are including their flaws.

We need more love bombing in this world. We need more expressions of love not less.

If someone is love bombing you but they’re actually doing is telling you that they love you from the deepest part of their soul. And that is what we need more of in this world

Perhaps this is related to your evolution of existence. The more evolved souls know that expressions of love and admiration are the highest form of appreciating and admiring the soul of another person.

But if you see that kind of commentary has a hidden agenda then it is your self who is at the lower stages and needs improvement.

Indeed perhaps it’s your own self-worth thinking that you are incapable of being loved which causes you to push away anybody that tells you that they love you including all of your personal quirks and flaws.
