not sure if this has already been suggested but for more members of the public to feel more confident about going out but keeping social distancing, perhaps an app or wrist band can be used to indicate you are 2 metres apart eg. a beeper or red flashing light warning when people are nearer than 2 metres apart

Can you please start telling us about the many different strains of Covid 19 here in the U.K. Is there any difference in how deadly or infectious the different strains are? How quickly is the virus mutating? How will the mutation rate impact upon finding a vaccine?
Also please tell us about the R rate for each town, or county at the very least, so that we can make our own personal risk assessments about easing out of lockdown. This is really important for the vulnerable groups who aren’t shielding but who do need to be extra careful. It really is time for specifics now instead of generalisations. The infection rate figures (from positive testing) recently published in newspapers don’t take into account large hospitals being in certain towns so these are very misleading, suggesting that towns with these large hospitals have a much higher rate of infection than neighbouring towns. We need to know the true infection rates in our communities outside of the hospitals

A lot of people I’ve seen out have stopped social distancing outside and in shops. Its risky going out there is way more traffic now too. People are acting like it’s all over and back to normal. Also read today that police no longer have the power to enforce social distancing. the gov have been very irresponsible and should have kept the lockdown going for longer because at this rate it’s only a matter of time before there is a second wave of the virus.
