We're gonna get smoked by Switzerland if we play like that.

Of course Germany have domestic league tactics, they have Julian Nagelsmann after all

Of course not. Southgate was just using dark magic as always

His plan can't really be "do nothing and hope your boys figure it out with some magic I could've never planned"...right?

Engalnd didn’t relay on moments tonight they just got lucky Jude’s goals was a 1 in one million and so was Kane

I also think Foden has jinxed the team. As soon as he was subbed, we scored 2 goals.

I hate that Jude bailed him out again but as long as they don’t win the thing I’m happy, i doubt they make it past the semis

That’s a very generous way of saying there are no tactics.

So many people have been saying it for years. The idea that international football is dominated by negative teams only works when you ignore how many of the top teams have been in disarray for the last 10 years. If anything they should be lambasting France for bottling so many tournaments to better organised sides than trying to copy them.

If it's that difficult to implement a proper structure in a team then why did Georgia, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland and Austria manage to do it

If Jude actually continues this for 7 years he might have a genuine say to top 10 clutch players of all time

For a team that builds up so slowly it is frightening how often we get stretched at the back.

You guys talk all you want, that last minute substitution for toney was truly magnificent and changed the outcome of the game.
Southgate in!

I would say Ukraine, who got last in their group, has been better on a expectation to performance basis than England and England’s in the quarter finals

Compared to when they played better at every other tournament they have ever played in ?
They played really well with a great team in 2014, 2010 World Cups or 2000, 2016 European Championships
