The shame of sorry state of public schools in various parts of the country is disturbing. Mangororo primary school, in Ganze, Kilifi County is one such school where pupils are learning under poor conditions. Images of children sitting on stones in a flooded classroom has angered the country, begging the question: why are children still learning in deplorable conditions? Dorcas Wangira reports.
