In recognition of Rural Road Safety Month, the Australian Road Safety Foundation hosted a live panel discussion bringing together experts and advocates to explore the unique challenges and risks faced on rural roads, while highlighting critical road safety initiatives.
The panel was moderated by Tom Rehn, television presenter and reporter. Joined by:
• Russell White, Chair of the Australian Road Safety Foundation
• Jessica Hargraves, a crash survivor who tragically lost her husband and the father of her two children
• Ian Parrott, Assistant Commissioner of State Operations Service, South Australian Police
• Nicole Kelly, Nursing Director of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Trauma Service and Co-Chair of the South Australian Trauma Service System
• Todd Finney, Executive Manager of CTP at AAMI
