Nice look. I have the 1647 model which I have used for quite a number of years. I really like the 47” bed. My question is can I use these three components on my 47” bed? I really don’t want to give up that extra 11” of room when working with just the head stock and the tail slid out of the way. I have really enjoyed using my 1647 and my only reason to change now would be to reap the upgrades that come with the 1836.
Again thanks for these many years of dependable service your lathe has brought me. I purchased my 1647 mainly because of the price point but I would purchase again because of the quality of the machine.
