In this new Drama they demonstrate they truly feel about woman in the Cult. David Splain also will freak you out with his crazy praise for bad parenting and jokes about fitness!

Years ago a JW woman with her two crying daughters knocked on our door late at night seeking refuge; we'd just seen them at the KH earlier that evening. Turns out the husband had blown up at them (not the first time) for turning on the light switch instead of letting him do it (obviously they hadn't learned their lesson about subjection). She divorced him less than two years later.

I love your kitty! My new kitten died this morning we found him last week outside and he had conjunctivitis and a respiratory infection. Took him to the vet day before yesterday, but he didn't take it too well and he passed away earlier. We are so sad. The whole Headship issue is one of the BIGGEST reasons I am leaving this Organization. I was baptized in 2006. When I married an "unbeliever" in 2013 I was, of course, disfellowshipped. My WHOLE family, my mom, my dad my sister and her husband would not even look in the direction of myself nor my children. If I were on fire they would not have even pissed on me. All because I married a man that I loved rather than one I was assigned to. I missed my family so much and my loving husband saw this, so he offered that we start going back to the Kingdom Hall, it was some time in 2016. I did everything the Witnesses' required of me and was eventually "reinstated." But religion is not my husbands interest and he never caught on, which was fine, at least my family loved me again. Now, Roe vs Wade has been over turned. I personally do not agree with this. I have ALWAYS had subjection issues in the religion. I hate that women are less than men and now we live in a country where this is real. I researched the bible and found many accounts where Jehovah killed fetuses (Hosea 13:16 for one) or had his priests commit abortions. (Numbers 5:11-31) And now I realize that God is NOT "love." God is an Organization of 8 misogynistic men with as #JwThoughts so beautiful describes "Penis Power."

I appreciate the idea of having a healthy work ethic and a humble attitude, but teaching someone to always be open to taking on work keeps them from setting healthy personal boundaries and can lead to workaholic burnout.

I met David Splain at a servants elders meeting where he gave a few parts. He started off by telling the audience to turn off their cell phones and that he doesn't want to see anyone on them. While giving his part a cell phone was ringing non stop. It had an old fashioned telephone ring tone. Splain never stopped his part to say can someone silence that call or answer it in the back.? I thought that was strange. Everyone just kept looking around wondering where it was coming from because it just wouldn't stop ringing. Spain finishes his part and goes to his seat. Spain left his cell phone at his seat and it was his cell phone that was ringing the whole time. Splain grabs the phone covers it with his hands to make it quieter as he runs down the isle to answer it in the back.🤣
I was a little suspicious about the Governing Body at that point since it was at a time when talk outlines were changing and I was examining all the changes and wondering about the reasons why. Especially why a change in verbiage and diction that has to be used from now on.
So.. I never went up to him to shake his hand and introduce myself. I don't regret that.

Does anyone remember what happened when no brothers showed up for field service? Someone had to pray….so it had to be a sister and they needed a “head covering”. So putting an open song book on your head counted and she could pray away, with a book on her head lol I miss those days.
