Russell could have easily gone around, but chose whining to the stewards, who conveniently ignored that neither Russel nor Verstappen where on a flying lap and Max was trying to keep some distance of the cars in front of him. If anyones fault it Russell's not Verstappen. Russels should have heard from his Race Engineer that there was slow traffic ahead and making speed on the raceline was unwise and where were the white flags?. Outrageous bad decission by the FIA, time there will be impartial stewards in stead of this biased clique and the same rules and peanlties for all for similar infringements.

Crying George got his way, and for what? FIA have been such a joke all season.

The stewards are unfair to all the drivers that are not English. Alonso braked very suddenly and Russell who was behind didn't notice and crashed. Alonso was guilty. Verstappen is always punished harshly in comparison with the English drivers. When asked by the interviewer about the incident, Russell sounded fine. He didn't expect anything like this. However, now we have yet another example of the favoritism for the English drivers. Tzunodah received a 10 second penalty for touching a white line when coming into the pits, the punishment was the same for Hamilton, 10 seconds, after Hamilton sent Verstappen's car to the barriers, destroyed the car, Max had to go to the hospital, etc, etc. The bias, unfortunately, is clear. Hamilton did not go to the Paris Award Ceremony, and nothing happened. There are other examples.
