MXR Layers pedal demo featuring Plinky synth (no talking)

A little demo of the basic functions of the MXR Layers pedal.
If you’re watching this I guess you already know what the Layers pedal does.
If not, then it is like a freeze/sustainer effect that is triggered by input level. Up to 3 simultaneous layers can be created which can either decay naturally or be set to infinite.
The pedal also has built in modulation - a chorus and/or tremolo - and a delay, and is also stereo in and out.
It works very well with synths.

It’s a very cool effect and is quite different to a standard ‘freeze’ option on some other pedals. It’s very good at creating pads, ambiences, atmospheres etc.

Anyway, here’s a demo of it with the Plinky synth.
