Tiger Woods makes his season debut as the PGA TOUR plays its first official event in Japan at the inaugural ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP. Woods is back in action after a knee operation, just weeks before he leads the U.S. Team at the Presidents Cup in Australia. Reigning FedExCup champion Rory McIlroy, along with former FedExCup champions Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth and local star Hideki Matsuyama join the field at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club. This is McIlroy's first PGA TOUR start since his victory at the TOUR Championship in August where he won the FedExCup and was named Player of the Year. Can he get off to a winning start in Japan?

But seriously as someone who makes videos this is really a great gift from the channel, this definitely took several hours to put together and they did it amidst the criticism they've been getting lately. Hopefully, this is just the start of bringing the channel back to greatness. It isn't the editors' fault; it's no coincidence the highlights were brought down to 2-3 minutes once they started rolling out the full round highlights on pga tour live. Glad to see at least some of the restrictions are being lifted.

Watching this tournament at the time (after the first three holes) felt like rewinding the clock fifteen years. It felt like watching Tiger in his prime, an unstoppable juggernaut who was GOING TO WIN unless somebody else did something truly special—that they wouldn’t be able to duplicate the next week when Tiger was once again in contention.
