Impressive. As a fan since 1965- the Ruffin and Kendricks era- this line up is the business. Larry Braggs ex Tower of Power frontman and the youngest member fits in perfectly and it was wise move getting him involved. Still one of the Worlds great vocal groups-long may they soothe our souls.

What a beautiful song. I heard it properly for the first time at a bar two days ago. I was meeting my ex’s father for the first time and he was in town to come collect his things and cremate his sons body because he unfortunately passed away by suicide. He had a heavy past that was catching up to him but he was a wonderful soul. Everybody loved him and he loved them back. Seeing his father for the first time I could see just what he could have been in his old age. They looked and talked the same and it hurt seeing him the resemblance was too much but it was great closure to finally meet my ex’s father who he loved dearly. This song was playing while he was talking with a few people and in that moment I was transported to a happier time with him. The what could have been, what should have been, and all the what if’s in the world. I will never ever know but I trust God has better plans for me. All I have left are the memories and that is where I will stay - just my imagination running away from me. 💜 Past the Moon, Beyond the Stars my one and only. May you rest in peace.
