Newcastle-Nordkapp - 10,000km on a Suzuki GSX650F

With little more than his motorbike and a camera, IT manager Gordon Stuart, 25, swaps his desk and laptop for 3 weeks in the saddle on an epic journey to the Arctic Circle and Nordkapp.

Inspired by his disabled brother, Gordon battles freezing temperatures and snow capped mountains to raise money for charity Cerebra.

My route was: Newcastle to Dover and Ferry to Calais. East through France, Belgium, Germany (to Hamburg), the North through Denmark, turning East to Copenhagen and across the Oresund Bridge to Sweden. Then North up the West coast of Sweden to Goteborg and Oslo. Then I took the E16 from Oslo to Fagernes and the 51 to Otta. Then follow E6 North to Trondheim, Mo I Rana, and Bodo. Then North on the Ferry to Bognes crossing over to Lofoten Isles and North to Tromso. Then from Tromso North East to Alta, Honnningsvag, and finally Nordkapp.

Absolutely bang on.. proper chap ..decent chap...why did I watch this??? All because I'm going to do my mod 2 n was looking for a bike that was similar to the one I learn on and before I watched this I wanted a gsx650f but this guy just summed it all up for me..so yes this is the bike I want(late model)going back to the guy???kinda learnt something from him too..which is humility....we can all learn something once every day and fore today I learnt 2 things..one the bike was awesome and two people are the same globally, they want to work provide for the ones they love and we are all the same no matter the language . Well done, bang on achieving your goal.

Interesting story....we travel lots too and people don't realise how much hard work it can be. Camping is hard on your body, the bike is hard work on the road mile after mile after mile with wind buffeting and noise unlike a car which is comfy and you can eat and drink whilst on the road. Well done you for completing the journey.

That was some trip, I felt quite emotional watching it. I can only imagine how you must have felt. It was great the support you got from the biking community, it must have made a big difference, having a place to stay, and someone to talk to. So, very well done to them, and I hope you continue your travels safely. Thanks for all your efforts, and keep riding safe. The bike looked great btw, I know you don't have it now, but it served you well. Cheers, John.

Hi, just found your channel through one of Mr Teapots Scotland episodes. That's a great trip you did, very inspirational. Especially as it was to give something back to those who have helped and supported your family.
Some tough long solo days on the bike there.. well done, and a very well edited video. I shall be watching some more of your vids
Cheers 👍

What a beautiful video for a beautiful cause and an amazing trip!

They truly are stunning bikes!

Norway is just incredible!

What bars do you have on the GSX650... They don't look standard?
