Home was EMPTIED after the woman died and the lawn grew WILD

I could BARELY see this house because of all the volunteer trees growing in the fence. The grass was getting super long and overgrown over the driveway, sidewalks, and curb. I knocked on the door with no answer but the neighbor across the street was hanging out on his porch so I went over there to talk to him. He told me that an older lady used to live here but she passed away a few months ago. Nobody has been by to mow the lawn and it has gotten out of control. So, I thought I would clean it up for the neighborhood and make it look AMAZING again.

It looks like an attempt was made to clear some brush, but something must’ve interrupted their flow. As someone who took care of my mother, my father, and my husband until they passed- I can tell you that yard work is never even thought about.

I love when you eliminate the "wild tree weeds, " it really makes the place look bigger...I don't think I have seen a home with such small access to the backyard...did not look like you would have been able to get your mower back there even if the gate did open...angles. If the front yard was that bad, I can only image how bad the back yard will be since you were unable to get to it. But, you made an amazing transformation to the front yard and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate your 💛of gold doing those improvements to the neighborhood. Actually, the neighbor didn't say that people had come to clean the place UP, he said they came and cleaned the place OUT. Very different.

It is sad the lawn had gotten overgrown like it was, and over the windows too. The deceased woman probably would be sad if she knew. She probably would be happy all the work you did though. I hope a family will get to live in the house some day, and make it a home again. It really looks nice all the work you did!

Wow, not use to seeing you deal with that much brush, hopefully it is hauled off or the arranged with the city to pick it up and not piled in the backyard, I am sure that neighbor along the driveway side appreciates it.
