These people are liars. They want to give the impression that the Saturn 1B at the Welcome Center has become a safety hazard and needs to be torn down for safety reasons. But, the US Space and Rocket Center - and Redstone Arsenal - and Kennedy Space Center all have Saturn 1 rockets on display that are just as old, and the two others in Alabama have been out in the weather for just as long as this one has. The one at the Space and Rocket center has school kids standing underneath it seven days per week! But there are no safety concerns there, are there? The State of Alabama doesn't want to spend the *money* to take care of this rocket that they've neglected for the past 40 years, and that's all. They went ahead with the plan to demolish the welcome center and redo it with no plan at all for the Saturn 1. Shame on them all. The Saturn 1 is a piece of history that will never be recreated.

How bout you just put another rocket there. That doesn't cost 7 million dollars. Jesus.
