As a SmartCharge New York participant, you can earn year-round and support a strong energy grid by charging your vehicle in the Con Edison service area at off-peak times. First, there’s a 3-Month Bonus, where earned per vehicle or charging station after 3 months of charging. There’s an Off-Peak Charging Incentive, where earned for charging at off-peak times. There’s the Avoided Summer Peak Incentive, where earned per vehicle or charging station for avoiding charging weekdays 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST, June 1 through September 30.
