Honda proves it can still build a class-leading vehicle with the release of their all-new 9th generation Accord. With its dizzying array of new tech features, generous standard equipment list, and improved fuel efficiency, it quickly puts the Accord back to the top 3 of the midsize family sedan class. Our few gripes remain with its lingering ever-conservative styling and a top trim touring model that looks too similar to an EX trim.

I'm a previous owner of a 2005 Honda Civic VP which I absolutely LOVED, I sold it and now have a 2013 Honda Accord LX coupe and a 2014 Honda Civic SI sedan, love them both but I get much better gas mileage on my Accord. The drive is so smooth on my accord it's an absolute quiet ride and is roomie. Regardless of whatever reviews Honda gets I am a Honda owner for life.

It started really well, the first 3 we had sold in a few days. We now have 4 in stock and with winter quickly approaching they will prob just sit. Out here in Chicago its a spring and summer seller.

There are a lot of people in the world who simply just need a vehicle to drive from point A to B which is why Honda's and Toyota's sell soo strongly bc of their "reputation" for reliability. The Accord may still look conservative but you have to look beyond that to see just how good this car really is. Every manufacturer can build great cars but we notice which of them is more consistent. It doesn't mean it's biased when that is pointed out. You sound like you show a lot of preference toward GM.

Thumbs up on your review!  It was in depth, you were very knowledgeable, and to top it off you showed us from a windshield and speedometer review an actual test drive of the vehicle!  Most car experts are so busy blurting off at the mouth they forget that we would actually like to see an actual test drive of the car ( One where we get a windshield view of the road as the car is moving.)

We'll only be in Detroit for the press preview days :( Next year we plan to be there for the entire week of the show and we'll be happy to do some meet and greets then. Also, we are planning several public appearances throughout the course of 2013 and we'll be keeping everyone up to date on those.

We were actually mistaken, the AUX port on lower trims is just located in the dash as opposed to that little cubby on this EX-L model.
