Locale not working for numbers in PowerQuery

Показать описание
00:00 Convert text to numbers when locale does not work
00:11 Find the problem character that causes numbers to be seen as text
00:30 Replace the problem character with nothing
00:50 Change the column type to be Number
01:08 If still errors, find the next character creating the number problem
If the regional settings using the locale option in Excel's Power Query does not convert a column into numbers without any error messages, there may be something unique about those set of numbers. It could also be that it is one of the more obscure number settings. In many cases it is easier to replace problem characters in the numbers and then convert it to a decimal or whole number type.
