I’m not going to say you’re the only channel that has inspired me but it’s mainly yours. I love building PCs and budget PCs. There is something so satisfying about building a budget monster with used/new parts and watching it destroy these horrible “prebuilts” in both price and performance! For instance I built a solid 5600/6650xt build, 16 gigs of ram, 1tb crucial m.2 650 watt Corsair psu and a x570 Asus tuff mbo with wifi for 690 usd!

I relate to this, but my home server is more like a nas / website and portfolio / my personal minecraft && other game servers, i love having my silly used hp under the router and everyone questioning why the hell is there a pc with only an ethernet cable connected 😂

I did this at first but decided dedicated PLEX server and dedicated gaming pc were a better choice

I briefly ran a proxmox server with two VM's. One, a TrueNAS server with 12 tb of raid z1. The other was a windows machine with my gpu passed through. I could literally play games on the windows VM (though some do NOT play nice with virtualization, and pass files through to the NAS. Same physical machine, two logical ones. It wasn't an ideal setup, but it was very cool.

Running the same thing, minus the VMs, as an SFF HTPC. Hardlined into my router for Plex. I stream games to my Deck/phone/iPad for couch gaming.

Kinda. Gonna use the War Machine as my first home server. I'm still learning though, and this is just my start.

YES, and Also some 1080p photo/movie editing, retouching. with more then 10 TB of archive and back-ups.

I'm a gaming, home server (for making it clear, I use or make some modding for making my home system be more useable.) and also developer. Honestly, I'm seeking a system like that also mostly for having spaces. (But in my country prices so high, around 30-40k TRY.) So I hope you'll suggest us some low-end price systems for it.
