You also gotta give Embark respect for their marketing strategy. In a day where it seems like every studio is setting sky high expectations and rushing products to market to meet a promised release date, Embark did none of that. They allowed the gameplay itself to set the expectation through the use of betas, while continuing to use betas for the traditional purpose of improving the experience. And instead of rushing to meet a release window, they opted not to give one at all. It's the exact opposite of the over-promise, under-deliver mentality that seems all too pervasive in the industry these days.

I think the low install size comes down to most buildings lacking interior design. There aren't really any props like furniture, carpets, etc.

My favourite part about the destruction is how it doesn't directly damage you. This means you can have really cool moments, like the floor giving way beneath you in the middle of a gunfight, or the roof caving in and complicating a capture, without having to worry about if it will kill you

If this tells you anything, the finals runs at 60fps on ultra/epic settings on my aging hardware from 2015.

I love how games push destruction forward. Battlefield is classic of course, but Rainbow 6 wowed me with the concept of precise tactical destruction and this game looks like levolution taken to it's logical limit. I love it.

If you have some insane FPS why useing frame generation, you said for competition play lathency is a key. With frame generation lathency always will be higher. All what you said is a logical mess.

something I really love about this game is its optimization, I have an extremely low end pc, I dont meet the minimum requirements for this game and even the game itself warn me about it or possible crashes, and yet I can still run the game with minimum settings, it still looks really really good, the fps are not the most optimal but IT RUN!!!! I CAN PLAY!!! ITS FREE!!! WHAT ELSE CAN I ASK FOR A GAME
