I'm from Brazil and we have some Harpies in captivity, near from home. In short, I'd be stay calm under a tree full of Bald eagles. I wouldn't say the same under a tree with just one Harpy.

The harpy eagle is stronger, stockier, heavier, more aggressive, can see further, has a hearing of an owl and with a smaller wingspan more maneuverable. It can fly in between the trees of the rain forest with ease. It can hunt from above as well from bellow, but above all else it’s the smartest of the raptors out there. It’s capable of adapting to different situations on the fly!

I saved a bald eagle once, he had a broken wing and actually let me handle him and be next to him. I was fishing with my ex and found him about 50 feet from where we were and called animal control after I fed him one of my crappie cuz he was thin. He lives year round here about 5 miles from my house and has a roost right over the water on the illinois river and I just thought I'd share my bald eagle story
