When I was a kid, 60 years ago, they said it was the hottest week on record in Wisconsin and had a picture of someone frying an egg on the bare sidewalk... I remember all the adults talking about and most people had no air conditioning then. Funny thing though is that my dad had built the house we lived in, the kitchen and living room was in the basement, and all our neighbors would hang out in the summer, because it was cooler. Also, we did a lot of fun things like go swimming, shoot water on each other from the hose, ride our bikes, lay around and fan ourselves, play cards and drink cold drinks, and just have fun!

As a Floridian living in St. Petersburg, this is not even close to the hottest I’ve felt in the many decades🍀

Summer 2019 was the hottest summer on record for global temperatures, but global heat doesn't mean everywhere gets hotter at the same rate.

When Al Gore was born there were only 7, 000 polar bears left on earth. Now that number has shrunk to over 30, 000. According to Al the oceans are boiling but I don’t know where that is. When I was young the earth was moving into an ice age.

Its th coldest summer 4 Bakersfield, last summer 90° high for the 4th of July usually its 100° plus every year on the 4th, this year very cool June, less than normal high today, so, nature balances it self,

When I was a kid in the 80s, they were teaching in school that we're headed towards another ice age. But according to Al Gore in the early 2000s things are heating up instead. Coastal cities will be under water soon they say. I've been around for 50 years and live by the Pacific coast. The water levels at the beaches haven't changed since I was a kid. Go figure...

Hot. Cold. Downtown Los Angeles didn’t hit 80 degrees for 60 days this past spring. For the first time.
Climate change. Yes. Because climate changes and is cyclical.

116°F? We were getting that for 2 weeks in Northern Minnesota when I was growing up. What a crock of lies. That "Ghost Forest", is clearly swamp land.

I live in the South, I don't know what these people are talking about. It's summer time, my balls aren't even sticking to my thigh yet, I think were ok.

The key word is RECORDED. It's the hottest RECORDED day, not the the hottest day.

The amount of comments saying "it's cool where I am!" is concerning. Like do they not teach what average means anymore?

Are we still pretending this isn't propaganda?
