A lot of Black Women do not take responsibility for their role in their own suffering. It is imperative that you make better choices in men instead of assuming that all black men are bad men. Cooperation and collaboration between black men and women is essential in improving the black community and building a brighter future. It's important to acknowledge past experiences and trauma, but we should not let them define our relationships and hinder our progress towards a more unified community. Let's work together to uplift and support one another.

Stop it! Black women are not selfish. They've learned that helping black men is to their own detriment. BW spent 2 decades, 1990 - 2010. Supporting black men and building them up. In return they were dogged and damaged, to a point where we are no longer willing to put in that time or energy. Let them get help from their preferences. When black men do succeed and are able to take care of a family they skip right past our black arses and turn on us for their preferences. We've seen that too many times .

Before BW can help BM they must first learn to love themselves and honor BW. It isn't selfish to NOT allow BM to use n abuse us.

From what I've seen, black women have historically been happy and willing to help black men build. The way black men have repaid their efforts have made this generation want no part in continuing that way of life.

Ummm I think the first girl is right and you missed the point. I see black men who have nothing and will request a black woman to help them and we do. Then the black men will rise to the top and leave that black woman who helped him. And give all his knowledge and wealth and wisdom to a woman of another race and will require nothing more from her and he will take care of her with no issues. I’ve even seen this with men in my own family. Only help GOOD black men who help you also.

It's a black parent's job to build up the black man not his counterpart's. As a woman, the worse thing you can do is help a man because he'll grow to resent you, regard you as his competition and leave you for someone who's never witnessed his struggle. A man's ego needs to be measured by his own merits, not a man needing the crutch of a woman.

The problem is when we help them build.. they get on they give their wealth to other races of women.

I helped my guy since teenager to put him in the right path. He just used and abused me. I tried to lead by example. He disrespected me by talking bad about me, partying, telling me i have no say in anything. He never respected me. Just used me but he was very good at pretending. Now he has thrown me aside. The world always revolves around him. I built him up. Never tarnished his name. He benefited from all of it. And now he treats me like i dont deserve love.

I’ve built my husband up, and he left me for multiple women. He drove me crazy, bullied me, I was in the hospital frequently for stress related illnesses. I took out a pension loan to pay him $10, 000 so that I can move out the house. He was so happy with the money, he didn’t see my plan. It was the best $10, 000. I’ve ever spent and 13 years later and I have it all back and more.
