Yes, I ordered my SNES classic from Nintendo a few months back same packaging and to be honest it looked and felt entirely brand new. Totally happy with my purchase

I remember as well when the second reissue of the new came out, and by the time it was announced to be on June 29th, I think 2 years ago, that there was so much buzz about it on the internet, that I figured it would be so hard to get again, that the lines at GameStop would be around the block. So I got up at 4 am just to get a fighting chance.( It's so funny that I never got up that early before that it took me a week to recover the sleep, lol). So I went hardly knowing how I was able to keep my eyes open, and when I got there a few minutes before they opened, no one was there, I was the first online, and about 20 min. later, 7 people aroved behind me and I went overboard buying the case and warrantee I think and whatever else pertained to it, which I couldn't afford and doubled the price I think. So afterwards I went to the zoo and had lunch, then I went home and the first game I wanted to play was super mario2. I had lost all those games years ago and missed them terribly. I can't tell you how happy I was to play that game. I played it for half an hour.

I bought a refurbished GBA from them long ago and it was so fresh and clean I thought that it was brand new.

My main concern in buying these is the controllers. Do they still have that nice clicky feel or are they all mushy? Thanks for the video, was waiting for someone to see how these official Refrubs were.

Yay thank you so much I wasn’t born at the time the SNES came out and I would really like to try the games but the prices for these were around 250-300 dollars and that was too expensive for me so thank you I really appreciate this video as I’m getting into retro gaming and I can’t wait to buy mine soon I hope everyone gets a chance to buy one!

Man I remember we when these first hit they were nearly impossible to find and donr get me started on the nes controller lol. I received the snes classic yesterday because I already had the nes classic. This think is like brand new! I'm super happy that Nintendo sold these and I really hope everyone who wanted one was able to get one

I have a SFC waiting for me at my local pick up spot. I paid around 90 USD for it. But I also picked up a Famicom mini for around 80 USD this weekend at a computer market. I waited late in the game to pick mine up, but was lucky enough to get them. The Famicom was one of 2 left in the whole huge city block of a computer market. Walked around for hours hunting it down. The SFC, I found from an online retailer. I love the fact you can mod the things. Though the Famicom has the controllers built into the machine, which is a bit of a bummer as you can't use a wireless setup. The SFC, though can. So I also ordered an 8bitdo wireless adapter that hopefully will work with my Xbox controller, if not. I have an 8bitdo SNES style controller that would work also. *Forgot to mention I got mine new. I did see some refurbished ones online for sale, and not much cheaper than what I paid. So feel fortunate at least for that.

Overall, I've had great luck ordering refurbished items from the Nintendo store. Both NN3DS were immaculate, if in ugly fashion plates. (Easily replaced.). My Wii U tablet controller was perfect, the system had a few scuffs, nothing major. I've ordered half a dozen refurbished 3DS chargers for $5 from the Nintendo store, all practically new. Best of all - ALL NINTENDO REFURBISHED ITEMS COME WITH A ONE YEAR WARRANTY!! You can't beat that.

Thanks for posting this, I went ahead and ordered the NES Classic. I was able to get the SNES Mini on launch but not the NES one, and I didn't want to pay the high prices for one on ebay. I also have the retroflag NES Pi, but I still wanted the official product from Nintendo.
