Police search for driver who led them on pursuit

Authorities on Thursday afternoon are searching for a driver who led them on a pursuit on the 101 Freeway before apparently losing sight of him or her in the Studio City area. Rich Prickett reports from Sky5 for the KTLA 5 News at 12 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2022.

I watched this from 4 different helicopter cameras (KTLA5, ABC7, CBS9 and FOX11). All of them lost the car. He probably made a U-turn under the bridge.

He made a u-turn when he went under the operator needs to back it off more instead of zooming in on the anticipated exit point.

The cameraman literally centered on the fleeing car as it got on the freeway again in front of the civic casually but still just wrote it off. Reminder to self: bridges are like the MIB memory zapper to cameramen.

Whenever I go out speeding 100+ mph I always pass that one guy who always wants to try and catch up to me, .. I'm sure that's what happened with the red car... the driver got triggered someone passed him!
