i was on a CRJ-900 recently for Delta Connection too. My flight was Cincinnati to O-Hare in Chicago. It was only a 37 minute flight but I love the CRJ-900.

Everyone talks about how the 1990s were the golden moment for planespotting, but I personally like 2011/2012/2013 too because there were a lot of vintage DC-9s and all but painted in modern liveries!

These will be my favorite aircraft after the MD80/88's are retired sadly. I get no thrill on 737's or a320's, etc. Can't even hear those engines. I remember flying on L1011's and DC10's and they had awesome engine sound also.

That airplane at the beginning of the video like less than ten seconds in is a dc9, you can tell by the pointed end, and the engines.

The newest version of the CRJ 900 has a new interior. More ergonomic. Delta has just ordered 20 of them.

Why does Delta throttle up, pause, throttle a little more, pause, and then max power? The Air Canada Express CRJ 900 that I rode just throttled to max power with no pauses in spool-up. Is it because of certain conditions?
