my parents go to monterey religiously, we always used to go when i was a kid and they go more now. Amazing food, great weather, quiet place.

You missed Aubergine in Carmel that has had a start for quite some time. One of the best starred restaurants I've ever been to. Better than some 2 stars.

Heellll no, most of Monterey restaurants are trash. There are a few good ones, but that’s it.
