In sam and cat her voice was different also in the show victorious it was more high pitch for her character. I think her natural voice is deep.

Ariana: “Paris Hilton got headlines for different voice. I’ll steal that.”

Wow, a mature voice, all grown up. Actually her real voice fits her look way better

It could be the same thing MJ did with his voice. I heard he would speak in his light and breathy speaking voice to preserve (I guess) singing voice. I hear some singers don’t even like talking or talk a lot before performing. BUT bottom line, if her voice isn’t being dubbed, or voiced over, then whatever comes out of her mouth, is her real voice PERIODT.

i noticed it too but i think it's because of the fact that she is a singer and she just filmed a movie. Her character has a very soft/feminine voice and she might still have that muscle memory from filming for so long...i think it's more common than ppl think. Another actor I can think of who's talking voice changes is, Tom Hardy..it's also very noticeable.

Age 30 years old is not so bad.
It is a blessing.

I saw her on Jimmy Fallon. It was amazing to hear her sing songs from other artists, in their voices. Seems she can mimic anyone. Amazing talent.

I’m glad people have the time to worry about this kind of thing.

My voice is naturally deep also but I go a few octaves higher (not baby) so people can hear me clearly. When I use my natural voice I get a lot of “huh”s? or 👂🏼 😅

Her singing voice is really really good, Its natural for singers with 4 octaves to switch registers sometimes not even on purpose!

Glad to see this "news" page added the part where Ariana herself has explained she does this to preserve her voice specially during interviews. The title to this video is just pure clickbait, trust me, a true fan would know why she does this.

She has mentioned, years ago, she will speak in higher tones to prepare or keep her singing voice in check and it also helps (anyone) gear up toward higher tones.

I like this for her, she sounds more relaxed and like she’s more down to earth

Clearly it was because she was training to sound more like Kristen Chenoweth

The fact that this is almost a heated point of discussion is sending me more than the voice 😭

why do people always comment on this? i speak like this too, sometimes high sometimes low and sometimes it’s just all over the place. it’s just her personality shining through

She does change her voice to a higher pitch so that she can preserve it. Y'all just try to bring everything back to Cat when it has nothing at all to do with that. Singers, especially vocalists, do that so that their vocal chords can stay relaxed especially when talking for a long period of time. That interview was around 2 hours btw. Stop hating, learn your facts. Ty.

Stop with the baby voice. The real voice is way better.
