Shouldnt the propellers be protected against damaging birds/people and against getting damaged themselves when touching something?

I can see selected areas in and around cities, where they can land and be stored for convince. Test cities like Nevada and New Mexico, Arizona with uninhabited areas can be testing grounds for them to try them out, not being around heavy populated areas. Also, local governments can create sky highways or routes to eventually have them move around metropolitan areas without interference to commercial airspace.
