This is the most thorough video review I have seen of this phone so far! It is the only one that I have seen address video recording, front-facing camera, show the actual speaker performance, discuss the included JBL earbud performance and show some of the non-stock apps that come with it. I was lucky enough to pre-order at $199 and can't wait to receive it. It basically reinforces that this is the right choice for me. Thanks a lot for the info!

Wow, this is the budget phone to beat. Before if someone asked me what's the best budget phone to buy I would've said the Moto G, but now I'll be saying the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3. Forward facing speakers and headphones included needs to be the standards of all smart phones especially high end devices. Great job Alcatel. 👍👌

This phone is awesome, I wish I could have it but I don't have a phone. My favorite feature of this is the ability to reverse the phone to be able to answer calls and use both sides . I enjoy your videos, they also help me out when I choose a new device.

I think this phone gives you the best value for your money. A phone with a large 5.5 inch screen, 13 mpx camera, and stereo speakers for under $250. This phone is perfect for Cricket Wireless and Straight Talk.

I love the overall look of the phone, slim and premium =) and also the fact that we could use either side of the front facing speaker.

Mike thank you for posting this review. It really caught me offguard that you can now get flagship phone like features without having to pay the flagship price and it has helped me decide that this is what I will upgrade to from my iphone 4s.
