Two 2020 GT500s Run 10.1@140+!!!!!!!!!

We took our two quickest 2020 GT500 customers to the track to see what they would run. We were SHOCKED when they both clicked off 10.1's at 140 MPH + right off the dyno with no additional tuning at full weight. The GT500 platform is legit! Check out @tang_stang_gt500 and @IconicGT500 lay it down.

Ok I agree the Demons and even the LS motors are fast, but they do so with way more displacement. For a 5.2 block to push this much, that thing is incredible.
I kind of feel the diffs/drive train of GT500 ll blow up if we push this harder. The GT500 is not a drag focused machine like the Dodges.
Add to it the GT500 is heavy at 4100+ lbs, its high probability that it ll break loose.
Still mighty impressed with the Predator Block.

LMR and others are making a big deal out of a ZR1 beating a GT 500. The ZR1 makes over 900.

im really surprised that those guys can get any traction with those bandaid tires. I wonder how the trans will stand up to a some 15 or 17 inch drag radials with some sidewall. Maybe it will be easier on the traction control system. I really dont see all the excitement, a 19 coyote with a stage 1 whipple runs 10.6 / 136 for one hella lot less money.

Let it be know, these GT500 depending on the conditions and elevation can run from mid 11 all the way down to damn near 9's!!!!, But when your really think about it, where that second of variation exist is not down in the progression down the track, but rather its all in the first 30 yards. For mustangs its all in the launch. if it just hooks as go'es without that stereotypical bog down before getting up to speed, it will gain just about a near full second advantage. In the least a half a second. These GT500 rarely ever bog upon launch, they just hookup grip and take off. And notably its the first time for a mustang to have such power and NOT spin the wheels. again this car is praised so much for its grip. and thats whats making all the difference.
