One little quirk I forgot to mention, that I haven't seen in XWAU...

*CTRL-L* to retract and deploy *landing gear.*
*V* to open and close *S-Foils.*

If you respawn in a new ship after getting blown up, the game might tell you that you can't shoot because of closed S-foils... and hitting V to open them will tell you to retract the landing gear first... without any explanation on how to do so.

Since Electronic Asbestos is not smart enough to develop games of this nature I guess we have to rely another 10+ years on mods ... this is great!

Thanks Calm Puter for this nice review. I would just like to point out that Palpatine automatically selects the AlphaOne pilot in classic mode and the AlphaTwo pilot in Reimagined mode, so if you create your imperial career using these two pilots you can skip the pilot selection phase. DTM

Hi Calmputer - I am in the Reimagined version and when I go to the Briefing Room, the only option in there are training missions; do you have to play training missions before you can start a Campaign????

My installation is all kinds of weird. I don't see the Palpatine convertor or Babu frick whatever on the Xwing launch menu, I ran those as separate executables. The main menu in game has changed, but the rooms are the same as in XWA. Briefing room looks like it's the XWA room, but mission briefing itself is for the TIE fighter mission. Game also crashes when trying to launch into a mission. I need

I don't know why but i'm having an issue with the installer. It doesn't finish initialization and just closes with no error. Any idea why this is?

Hi when you first start doing this you need your original X-Wing alliance disc don't you And do you need the original TIE fighter disc I have them all I just want to know and X-Wing I have and I also have the TIE fighter gold edition disc which tie fighter game should I use the gold or the regular And you just load everything on the disc to the computer so you don't have to have the disc in the disk drive
