Heller post the final mission is just overkill for Mercer (Evolved form) because he consumed him at the end of the mission which means that he gains Alex's physical stats like strength, speed and etc. As for why Alex (P2 Base) outscales James (Pre Murder your maker) is because that in the bossfight, Alex literally doesnt use devastators (He literally had a biomass that can encompass the entire manhattan itself via Heller doing a island wide tendril barrage), claws, musclemass, Superior BIQ (since he consumed way more soldiers and blackwatch than heller), and etc. When you use the same weapon as him, he counters you and tells you to switch to another weapon. He clearly is holding back by a large margin (I think) and couldve finished Heller if he wanted to.

This is wrong bc of 1 thing, Alex stated the Heller DNA is unique, its so strong that can tame the Virus, that makes Heller the strongest portraitor of the Virus by definition, not only that, he was able to adapt and gain the power enough to defeat Mercer in a few weeks, the only things Mercer takes are Hax, Habilites and Iq, aside from that, Heller is just a better Prototype (I dont like it either, but we cant do anything about it, thats what the game provides to us)

James Heller countered and parried every attack Mercer had to throw at him and adapted to it and did better than him.
Mercer even knew it that’s why he wanted Hellers DNA so badly cause he knew he couldn’t consume or beat him. Heller was evolving and getting stronger every day adapting to everything he encountered.

Giving Heller power was Mercer’s greatest mistake and regret he created a bigger monster than him
