Had been seeing Hermon, in my studies recently!! Psa 133 concludes by saying, that for brethren to dwell together in unity is... "as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for THERE the LORD, commanded the blessing, even LIFE for evermore". An important mountain to God.
God is revealing Himself to us still today. By THE WORD. A person!!
He illuminates, by His Spirit, the pages of Scripture and that is how we come to know HIM, and to know Him is LIFE ETERNAL. Praying for each of us, to hear his "voice" atop Mt Hermon, for His body, to be "in unity" as we await Our meeting in the air. All Praise to His Name! One time, I had a certain temptation that was persistently bothering me. One morning, I began reading the daily bible passages as I normally do. I read the part of Jesus' ascension into heaven after He talked to the disciples. Immediately after reading the sentence of Christ ascending into the heavens, I felt a tap on the top of my front head, and my head instantly bowed down. I perceived it to be the Holy Spirit, since afterward, the blasphemous temptation I had begun to wither away. It's not the only time I have felt the Holy Spirit, I've had similar feelings during confessions. The Holy Spirit seems to come from the top of my head down into the body. God is real, and if you choose Him, then follow Christ Jesus.

I recommend the book Reversing Hermon by Dr Michael Heiser. I don't think it specifically addresses the portal idea but def talks about what Mt Hermon is.

I was in a very dark place. Crying so hard, so lost, and praying. Suddenly, I saw a black hole, and I saw the cross. I saw Him Suffering on the cross. And the moment before his last breath, He didn't just feel his pain, He took into Himself EVERY SINGLE SIN, EVERY SINGLE pain.
