Power is something we take for granted until it goes out. And the way electricity is generated and distributed to our homes is also something that most of us don't think much about. In this video, we learn about the difference between 120V and 240V electricity and how split phase electricity is distributed from the power station to homes in communities where grid power is available.

If you are looking to imitate the same 120/240 split phase functionality that we get from the grid, in your off-grid cabin or tiny home, the EVO-4248SP is your best bet. By using a split phase inverter/charger combined with a battery bank and solar panel system, you can achieve your goal of living off-grid with all the conveniences of a modern home. This provides you with clean, renewable energy and a less noisy alternative to using a generator. The EVO-4248SP is efficient, easy to install, and capable of high surge loads. It also streamlines your electrical system to only needing one device with its all-in-one design.

Order of 4248SP is placed. I do own 4024 as well and love it. I'll keep it as backup and I'm going 48V now. I do wish you guys made communication with this EVO line of inverters more accessible, either Wifi, bluetooth, LoRaWan or just simple local network connection. I do use EVO-RC but other brands are more advanced in data access and management. That's the only thing I can "criticize". But your product is rock solid.

Very nice. How much? What happened if two 240v appliances start at the same time?

Why not just use three phases. Or something like a Wye 3 phase with neutral
