Can You Learn To Wheelie A Bike In Just One Day?

Despite being a pro cyclist for the best part of a decade, and racing the Giro, the Vuelta, and the Rutland Melton Cicle Classic; Conor can't wheelie his bike. Whether it's because he's too tall, or just doesn't have the skills - nobody knows. Fortunately, he's roped in the help of a certified wheelie expert in the form of Sam Bennett to give him some pro tips as he challenges himself to learn how to wheelie in just one day. Will he be able to master the skill in a day? Who Knows? Who Cares? Brother In Law Nigel certainly doesn't....

I bet I wasn't alone in expecting Nigel to pull a wheelie at the end of this video. But that was a good try, Conor. I do wheelies on one of my regular rides. They're high enough and long enough to get my front wheel over a half-dropped curb, i.e. a few centimetres. I won't be so proud of that skill, now.
