Its always the best moment for me to put mice in their new and freshly made enclosure. They are so excited and running around to discover every last hole. Ur sweeties are so cute and the enclosure looks beautiful. I think they will be very happy in there.

I have been wanting rats for AGES and I finally got two last week!🥳🐀 It is all thanks to you that they are living with a HUGE CAGE ( measurements: H 160cm, W 92cm, D 64cm) and are being fed on a homemade mix (the Shunamite diet) and are not sourced from a pet shop. Their names are Frizby and Zoomy and Zoomy is an albino top eared rat and Frizby is a roan variagated top eared rat. We are also getting two dumbo rats in a couple of weeks. Thank you much your channel has helped me so much! 😊 I love the mouse cage btw BEAUTIFUL I love the natural theme! 😄

Ooh, this looks so pretty! I love all the types of enrichment you give them, it looks they would have the time of their life in there! This video was super exciting and I am super happy for your mice, also I love how you made the tunnel system under the bedding, it’s a really cool idea.
The wheels also look really good in there, I hope they last! Nice seeing them explore, it seriously makes m6 day seeing mice exploring new cages. I remember when I used to have a group of female mice, whenever we redid there cage they used to get all jumpy and excited exploring the new set up, it is just the funniest sweetest thing!

I love this cage so much! It looks so interactive and enriching for your mice! I bet they love having so much bedding! Also, If anyone is looking for large amounts of mesh to make a diy lid I found that my local hardware store sells mesh in large rolls and they will pre cut it to any size! I was actually able to find a mesh with really small holes so my hamster can't escape!

Added a large addition onto my diy cage today. Now at 210 gallons. This is a mix of fancy and house mice using a natural setup with sticks from the yard/woods which I move around every 1 to 2 weeks during a cleaning and I replace them with new sticks around once a month. Normally I would fill the cage up with twice as many sticks and bedding. But I want to get them use to moving around the new area. The bedding is a mixture of shredded paper and cardboard with several hides at different levels. This does require more cleaning. But allows me to move the sticks/ hides around and them to build nest more often. This keeps them all active exploring the new area once it is cleaned. The constant cleaning has "trained" the house mice so most of them know what a mesh cup placed in the cage means and will come willingly. They have a mixture of dry meal worms, seeds, grains, rice, with cooked then dried/broken up mac n cheese(try it) as a filler. For treats toasted bread and popcorn keep them happy. During the summer black crickets, grasshoppers, or flies are easily caught to make fun live treats.
