In my opinion, they should announce right after the powerstage in Japan that actually the only point system was 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 while the so-called new system was just used to fool the drivers to drive faster on Sundays, and thus the points weren't awarded that way in the end. It only requires the FIA to have the will. As a Eurovision fan, I ask if the FIA has learnt what happened in the Eurovision Song Contest 1969, that is, it saw four countries winning because of a similar-ish amnesty points system...
