Nice video. Safety rating is based off of the amount of turns, and it counts during the pre qualifying practice, qualifying, the race, and also the laps after the race finishes. You can keep getting more safety rating if you keep turning laps after the checkered flag as long as there is still another car on the track with you. If you get crashed out of a race and have to tow, don't leave the race. Keep driving clean laps and increase your safety rating even more.

A decent trick is to do TimeTrials. The amount of safety rating you get is lowered but do 10 laps clean at a time and it will climb. This works for Ovals, I'm assuming it works for road racing as well.

Got out of rookies in 5 races. People stuck in Rookies means they aren't actually learning how to race.

i dont get how people get stuck on rookie for months on end... Just drive clean, drive safe, expect everyone to try and kill you... I never did any sim racing other than RBR/Dirt 2 and when I join iRacing I was out of rookies in 1 week...
