Watchman device offers alternative to AFIB Patients

Transforming care means being innovative and offering Sparrow Patients options they can't find anywhere else in the mid-Michigan region. The Watchman is an FDA-approved device for those with atrial fibrillation (AFIB) who can't take blood thinners and are at risk of stroke. Sparrow is the first hospital in the region to offer the Watchman. "Now I have tremendous relief," said AFIB Patient Russell Overton.
