5 Principles of Gamification

Real gamification is not about making some contrived game to pit employees against each other in a bid to increase productivity. That approach is tried, tested, and often backfires. Instead, real gamification should take the principles of good game design, and apply them to productivity, and behavioral challenges. That's what Alex and I talk about in this video.

Hey, amazing video as always!

Just one thing - Behavioral Science Toolkit showed the piano stairs, which are a great example of behavioral science use, but nevertheless turned out to be a huge failure in the long-term and were demounted only days after being implemented. I don't think it should be shown as a good case practice.

Anyway, great and informative video, definitely shows why gamification has been getting increased traction in multiple business sectors.

BTW - anyone here still processing all the information learned from Nudgestock?
