saving private ryan should be nr one, as this is just insane unique mile stone next level movie making.

The Medieval films are rubbish especially that one about Henry V. Troy has Paris as a hero while he is the villain in Homers book.

'Historical' is questionable. Most are 'Based On' which means they take great liberties in retelling the details. Those mentioned in this video are more reliable than many of the newer ones produced in the last three years that try to meet racial and preference inclusion and dilute historical accuracy.

I enjoyed this resume of great historical films, I’d just like to add one point about Dunkirk. This portrayed the evacuation of the British army and allies , not the English army .

Schindlers List? I would put Band of Brothers over Saving Pvt Ryan...yes a series but same great theatrics (directing, acting, cinematography, costumes)...except with a much more true story.
