I'm from Algeria and had seen what I only could describe as UFOs a few times.
I understand this feeling when your friends or family either don't believe you even when they know you that you never lied to them before or they make fun of you or just move on and ignore the topic because the implications are uncomfortable for most people.

Mosjøen was where I was born. But moved away at a young age. Having close family there and visiting very often during my whole life, I know the people of Mosjøen to be very down to earth, and I find it highly improbably that ANYONE from the place would have made up a story like this! The place is like where everybody knows everybody, and my mother would probably had known the sisters as she was about the same age, but she passed a few years ago. Btw, this was the first time I've heard this story...

Maybe next time you will cross the Baltic and tell some ufo story from Poland? We have many interesting and sometimes strange stories. Recently I heard about farmers who in 1943 saw a silver spaceship in the field. A crew came out of the ship and waved to them and said something. Great video. Thx. I live in the town of Mosjøen where the women live. I've never met them but I think they regretted teling their story. Many people all over Norway have made fun of them for decades. Even mention them in popular songs (Øystein Sunde). From what I've heard they don't want to talk to anyone about what they saw. I'm glad they told their story which has given courage for others to tell their story. The town of Mosjøen is a sleepy little town where nothing special happends.

I can't help but feel sorry for these two sisters because if this event actually happened and yet even their uncle doubted their story, it would affect them deeply. I don't know if they were making it all up but to not confess to the contrary adds some validity to this event....great thought provoking story... thanks for sharing it here with us

As a person who's seen her fair share of 'unexplained', it's not difficult for me to believe those brave ladies.
It's easy to doubt and mock if you've never seen anything.
