You only did one playthrough of AC6? You should definitely look into the NG+ and NG++ experiences since both unlock new missions, weapons and armor, and have different endings, with NG++ having what's universally considered as the canon ending for AC6. The game was already great before, but how this game handles NG+ and NG++ is where this game becomes a masterpiece, imo.

I love this game so much. I did not expect the story to go where it went. The 3rd playthrough is almost completely different than the 1st one. Even introducing new characters

AC6 was easily one of my favorite games last year. I've been itching to play through it again recently, so it's nice to hear others are still experiencing this awesome title for the first time.
With regards to NG+, I don't see it to be similar to a repeated playthrough like you might find in other games. In my opinion, it is a continuation of the story much like NieR: Automata did. I would highly recommend it if you have enjoyed the game so far!
I haven't been able to try the co-op mod myself yet, but I've been trying to convince a friend to play it with me. We've enjoyed that mod creator's other work, so I'm sure their efforts on Armored Core are an excellent addition.

It's interesting that you say you could see the Souls games in Armored Core. Before he worked on Demon's Souls, Miyazaki directed Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: for Answer. Which has the same level of storytelling as all the other games he does. It's also some of the fastest mech combat you'll find anywhere.

Also, one thing that I find amusing is how the ranking system in Armored Core works. You get points for killing enemies, and lose points for ammo costs, repair costs, and time taken. Hmmm, that sounds familiar. Getting points for killing enemies, then deducting from those for ammo and healing, and losing them all if you die? I'm pretty sure I've heard of that mechanic before...

From Software has been around a long time. As has Armored Core. And I'm glad to see it back, so we can have a new generation of Ravens. And as someone who went through all three Gen1 games (including Nine-ball Seraph) with their original pilot name: May you soar high and may your flight be long, Raven.

I've been crawling around in the lore and even discussing the physics. The sci fi speculation opens up a lot of implications about its universe and the politics are an iceberg by itself. My only public video is a speed run of a common mission people have trouble S ranking. You can borrow some footage with credit
