I got my little cover off by watching this video! Hardest part of this job! I used a 3/32 socket to get the screws out. Another tip-after I plugged in the new connection, the new visor slipped from me while screwing it back and broke the connecting wire! After some serious cussing (trying to install a visor with no "flip" action), I had to buy another visor, since that tiny wire cannot be fixed...and having a LIGHTED MIRROR is a requirement for this lady driver! Also, the aftermarket visor seemed frozen from flipping up & down...so I pulled the top bar out 4 inches and put a coat of vaseline on it. It finally flipped easy!

Excellent video….got me excited about replacing my 2012 Maxima passenger visor. Except…
I’ve been searching desperately for a replacement visor & only finding dirty, used ones for $70+ or nice, driver side visors. Any suggestions on where to look? Feel like I’ve searched so many online parts websites. I’m ready to just duct tape it up out of the way and be done with it. Grrr.

I ordered the tool to help get it off as well as the visor and the visor came first so I went at it with a flathead till it came (pro tip: popped off in under a minute when you go at the corners closet to the seam). Now I just wasted money on a tool I don’t need anymore lol
