My Meal Planning System + Tips | Motivation Tip + the App I Use

Today we're talking how to write a meal plan, which is not a glamorous topic but it is SO important! I'm sharing tons of tips, how I motivate myself to actually write out a plan, and my favorite app.

HOW TO WRITE A MEAL PLAN:

02:26 - Create a new meal plan note in my evernote app. Add sections for each day of the week. Then we’re going to fill in what is for dinner on each day. You can take a look at the grocery flyer to see what’s on sale and pull inspiration from that, and check in your fridge and freezer to see if there’s anything yummy there that you could be cooking up this week.

03:22 - If you’re stuck for inspiration, one trick I love is to have theme nights! For example: meatless monday, taco tuesday, pasta wednesday, pizza friday, or leftovers. Pro tip: always make Fridays easy! Saturday is a great day for using your slow cooker, and Sunday you may want to do a big dinner or keep it easy.

04:48 - I take snacks pretty seriously. I find that if we don’t have healthy snacks on hand, we tend to indulge in unhealthy snacks. This week I’m prepping: coconut date balls, pepperoni sticks, and apples. For my son Kai’s snack drawer, I’m prepping cheese, applesauce, and sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.

05:35 - Once I’ve filled out my meal plan, I go back through and cross reference the recipes with what we need to pick up from the grocery store. I then make a grocery list of what we need.

05:58 - Once the grocery list is finalized, I order my groceries online from our local store.

TIPS TO MAKE YOUR WEEK EASIER:

06:11 - Plan for leftovers! Cook a double batch of something

06:46 - Keep lunches and breakfasts super simple. This is the best way to be efficient and makes life so easy.

07:14 - Use dependable recipes. It’s fun to experiment, but on busy weeks it may not be the best time to try out a new complicated recipe.

Denise I’m not sure if you’ll see this but thank you so much for including vegetarian recipes!! I’m plant based and whenever I look up plant based recipes it always says chia pudding or oatmeal, which is fine but there’s never a lot of variety, so I’m very happy that you make your website inclusive for all diets!

I hate the grocery store & the gas station more than life itself. I wait until I have no fresh vegetables left. And then drag myself to the store. I'm the quickest shopper & adhere to my list. I hate having to wait behind shoppers who dilly dally while looking perplexed at items. 😅 I'm like don't you know why your here? It's the worst chore I have to endure. I cannot relate to people who enjoy shopping. 😂

There isn't any fat loss tea or a magic pill. There are only smart dieting and training. *Agoge Diet* is a great tool to start with because it gives you everything you need to reach your fitness goals.

I heard some guy lost 12kg in just one month by following diet plan from *Agoge Diet* so I tried that too. Although I didn't lose that much, I could say this thing really works and it's definitely worth trying
